What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform your decision.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
